When it comes to authors who have written more than one amazing series, you've got to read Karen Marie Moning if you're a paranormal fan! (read more)

KMM doesn't just write traditional paranormal romance, though. She also writes a fantastic historical romance series that was my first foray into her work and got me totally hooked!

So, before we get to the more traditional paranormal romance series, let's talk about her HIGHLANDER romance series, it's ah-may-zing.

THE HIGHLANDER SERIES

I love this series for a few reasons, not the least of which is that KMM perfectly ties this series into her next series, even though the two really don't have too much to do with one another at first glance.

The Highlander series is eight books long. Each book finds a modern lady thrust back in time, or a not so modern highlander thrust forward into the time of his modern lady.

There is druidic magic, loads of history, and a whole group of people you get to know as the books progress.

It's a great series, and really a must read if you're a fan of either paranormal romance OR highlander romance.

THE FEVER SERIES

The Fever series is ongoing, but it's such a richly written world that I truly feel like I'll love each book as much as the last.

What happens when a bubbly, beautiful, pink loving young lady travels to Ireland after her sister is killed? Nothing much, until she walks into a book store, asks about a specific book, and her life is changed forever.

If you are a fan of the Fae, Faerie, druids, and every sort of magic you think of when you think of Ireland, this series is definitely for you.

I dare you to tell me Jericho Barrons isn't just about the best male lead ever in a book, ever.

He really is.
